Preliminary Schedule
Mondays at the Mabee is a discussion group for students, staff and faculty. It is intended to address pressing issues of current affairs, history, science, art and Washburn University. Mondays brings together expertise and opinion in an enlightened discourse. Participants in the group respect opinions and beliefs that are, in turn, shared in a civil manner. The goal of Mondays at the Mabee is to increase awareness of issues, increase discourse on campus and engage those from across a broad spectrum of disciplines. It is important for students to be exposed to other members of the Washburn community who have different interests and ideas because it is through this exchange of different ideas that students can grow intellectually. We encourage anyone who is interested to participate in Mondays and we always welcome new ideas for topics or speakers.
Mondays @ the Mabee start at 11:00am.
