Now you can print from your mobile device in the Mabee Library.  Print with the help of HP ePrint Home & Biz, a free app. Wirelessly print Microsoft Office, web pages, PDF, photos, email attachments, and text.
 (web page printing currently only available on iOS and Symbian platforms)

Enabling this feature on your mobile device requires HP ePrint service registration from the HP ePrint Home & Biz mobile app. Upon the first launch of the app, you will be prompted to register.

To get started:

• Download and install the HP ePrint Home & Biz app on your mobile device.

•  Android Market
•  App Store
•  Ovi Market

• Launch the HP ePrint app once it has been installed.
• Register with HP ePrint Registration. You MUST use your Washburn email (Follow instructions…).
• Complete verification by entering the pin which was emailed to you.
• Tap on ePrint icon or settings for adding the printer (manage ePrinters).
• Tap on +
• Tap on “Add Manually”.
• Enter the printer's email address: mabeemobileprinting@hpeprint.com
• Email farhan.makda@washburn.edu and make an appointment to allow Mobile printing from your device.  Please bring your WUID.

 

How to use HP ePrint for Android:

1.Tap the HP ePrint Home & Biz icon to launch.

2. Tap Photo Albums to print a photo; or tap Documents to print a saved file (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF or text file). .

3. Select a file to see print preview.

4. Tap Print to print the file.

How to use HP ePrint for iPhone/iPad: 1. Tap HP ePrint Home & Biz icon to launch.

2. Tap Photo Albums to print a photo; tap Saved Files to print a saved document; or tap Web Browser to print a web page.

3.  Select a file.

4.  Example: once photo, document, or website is selected, tap Print Preview; tap Print.

How to use HP ePrint on Nokia: 1.  Tap HP ePrint Home & Biz icon to launch.

2. Tap Photos to print a photo; tap Saved Files to print a saved file (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF or text files); or tap Web to print a web page.

3. Example: If you selected Web, select from the Web Page Options.

4. Once website is displayed, tap Print Preview; tap Print.

Print times may vary. Compatible with most smartphones and tablets that run Android 2.1 or later.  Wireless performance is dependent upon physical environment and distance from the access point. Compatible with iPad® iOS 3.2.x, iPad and iPad 2, iOS 4.2 and later, iPhone4, 3GS, 3G and 2G and 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation iPod touch® using iOS 3.1.x or iOS 4.2 and later.  Compatible with smartphones running Symbian 360 3rd and 5th edition, and Symbian 3.

Washburn University is not responsible in anyway for any lost print jobs. Any print jobs not picked up within 10 minutes will be disposed off.
