Blanche Parks
Blanche Parks was originally appointed to the Washburn Board by Mayor Butch Felker in 1993 and reappointed by Mayor Joan Wagnon in 1996. She is the Regents appointee from the 19th state senatorial district.
Parks, retired from the Kansas Department on Aging, holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in education from Washburn University.
She was appointed vice chairwoman of the Regents in July 2010, having previously served two one-year terms in that position, in addition to two one-year terms as chairwoman.
