Tell Me More About Washburn
Many people mistake us for a private university, perhaps because of our academic quality, small class sizes, and beautifully maintained campus. In actuality, Washburn is a publicly funded, independently governed university offering more than 200 programs leading to associate, bachelor, master's and juris doctor degrees, and licensure and certification.
We offer undergraduates broad-based liberal arts and professional instruction, on a 160-acre campus in the heart of Topeka, Kansas, the state capital. Our location gives students the best of both worlds - a beautiful, residential campus and easy access to many cultural and co-curricular activities that enrich their education.
We invite you to explore how a Washburn education can transform your life!
