How to Apply for a Stafford Loan
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
If you have not already accepted your student loans, login to My Washburn. After logging in, click on the Student tab. Look for Student Self-Service and under Financial Aid select "Accept/Decline Financial Aid Awards"
Complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling. Both of these items must be completed by all first-time Washburn University borrowers.

Select "Complete Entrance Counseling" and identify whether you are currently an Undergraduate or Graduate/Professional student

Select "Complete Master Promissory Note" and select "Subsidized/Unsubsidized"
