Parents & Family

Choosing a college is a big step in a student's life journey. Sometimes it's a challenge to navigate the admissions process and the new experience of college life.
Our highly regarded academic programs and friendly campus create a supportive environment where your son or daughter can thrive and grow.
We invite families to visit with their student and embark on the Washburn experience together. If you're wondering how much it will cost for your son or daughter to attend Washburn, take a look at the table below. You can find more information about costs and fees of attending Washburn here.
Estimated Tuition at Washburn*
| Kansas Resident | Non-Resident | |
| Undergraduate tuition per credit hour | $216 | $489 |
| Graduate tuition per credit hour | $297 | $606 |
*Students taking online courses may pay additional charges. Special visitation days for junior and senior high school students include programs specifically for parents. They cover important topics related to academic and social life, career results, campus safety, financial aid, and more. You may register to attend these events on the Admissions home page.
Once your student is admitted to the university, you too become part of the Washburn community, too. Take advantage of the many events that take place on campus, and plan to join us for Homecoming and Family Day festivities.
