Washburn University Strategic Planning
Given the recent successful completion of the Higher Learning Commission reaccreditation process and the upcoming sesquicentennial celebration in 2015, it is time for the University to plan for its future. In order to move forward, the Washburn University Board of Regents (WBOR) charged the University to review its planning processes and develop a strategic plan.
The Strategic Planning Council presented the third draft of the Strategic Plan to the Washburn Board of Regents on Friday, January 29. Following the meeting, a fourth draft was prepared which incorporates the comments and suggestions made by the Regents. This revised draft is now available for review and comments. Please send your comments to espcchair@washburn.edu by Friday, February 26.
The next draft of the Strategic Plan will be presented to the Washburn Board of Regents on March 12. The final strategic plan is to be presented to the Regents in April 2010. Refer to the timeline for activities from now through April.
