The mission of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center is to enrich the quality of campus life by promoting and offering opportunities for physical and mental growth as well as social interaction in healthy surroundings and superior recreational facilities.
The SRWC’s innovative co-curricular programs and offerings serve to provide a connecting link between students and the Washburn University experience.

5 Year Anniversary Celebration
The doors of the Washburn University Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) opened
in the fall of 2004. Since that time, over 450,000 visits have been made to the facility by students,
faculty and staff. Please join us in celebrating the success of the SRWC by participating in the events
