Multicultural Student Organizations


 The following organizations are sponsored by Multicultural Affairs:

  •  Washburn Black Student Union (WBSU) - WBSU is a student organization that collectively embraces and promotes a positive and professional image of the Black collegiate experience at Washburn University.  

              For the 2011-2012 school year, WBSU meets every Tuesday at 8pm in the Blair Room of the Living Learning Center (LLC).

  • Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) - HALO is a student organization that encourages students to further their education, to be successful leaders in society and promotes awareness of Hispanic cultures. 

              For the 2011-1012 school year, HALO meets every Wednesday at 5pm in the Myriad Room of the LLC.
