Costs & Contracts
All students admitted to Washburn and plan to enroll full-time are eligible to live in the university residence halls.
If you are interested in on-campus housing, you can download the contract and all pertinent information by clicking on the link of the residence hall in which you would like to reside. You can also contact our office to request that a contract packet be mailed to you.
While there is no deadline to submit a housing contract, students will be assigned to rooms based on a "first come, first served" basis. Students residing in university housing are required to be on a board (meal) plan.

Private rooms are double rooms occupied by one student. This option is based upon availability and will not be available until two weeks into the semester.
The cost of a private room in the LLC is the price of a double room plus 35%. Because Kuehne and West are larger in size the cost of a private in these facilities is the cost of double plus 50%.
Bod Bucks are discretionary dollars that can be spent for a number of great services on campus (Corner Store, University Bookstore, laundry facilities, etc).

"Bod Bucks" are discretionary dollars that can be spent for a number of great services on campus (Corner Store, University Bookstore, laundry facilities, etc).
Meal plans consist of ICHABOD Dining Dollars that are accessed through your iCard. This works like a debit card, every time you make a purchase in a Washburn dining location, the purchase amount is deducted from your ICHABOD Dining Dollars account. Money from your ICHABOD account will carry over from fall to spring semester, but not from year to year. If your Union Market account begins to run low you can add additional dollars at anytime through the Ichabod Service Center.
