Melissa Villasenor, stand-up comedian,
impressionist and singer, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the
Washburn Room, Memorial Union, Washburn University. The event is free and open
to the public.
Villasenor made her first television appearance doing Ellen DeGeneres and Sarah
Silverman impressions on TBS’ Frank TV. More recently she played a part as Nora
Ephron on Fox’s Family Guy and voiced characters on Cartoon Network’s Adventure
Time. She also has appeared on Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and
America’s Got Talent on NBC. Villasenor grew up in Los Angeles and started
stand up in Comedy Camp at the age of 15.
