Washburn University has awarded the Student Life Achieving Excellence Award
to Judy McCourt, secretary, human services office. McCourt was nominated for
“always going the extra mile to help students with all sorts of different
needs.” One nominator stated “she daily stands in awe at how Judy treats our
students.”
The Student Life Achieving Excellence Award is presented monthly to the
faculty, staff or community leader who has been nominated, and who demonstrates
excellence in working with individual students, student groups or
organizations. This award is a way to recognize individuals who most exemplify
these principles based on everyday behaviors or special isolated events and
activities that make Washburn a special place for students to learn and excel.
