Washburn
University Senior Brea Short, of Topeka, is the inaugural winner of the 2012
Kansas City Financial Executives International (FEI) Oracle Award. Short was
selected as the top finance/accounting student and received a $2,500 award at
the Kansas City chapter FEI academic night meeting on April 9.
FEI solicited applications for the award from 14 of the largest business
schools in Kansas and Missouri. Candidates were evaluated on their excellence
in academics, leadership potential and service to community and college. Short
is majoring in accounting and finance.
