Flute players from elementary to high school are invited to participate in
the April Flutes Day event from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at
Washburn University.
Former St. Louis Symphony piccolist, Jan Gippo, is the 2012 featured guest
artist. The day also includes musical games, coaching and lunch. Registration
is $10 per person and pre-registration is required.
The event is hosted by the Washburn University Flute Association and funded in
part by the Washburn Student Government Association.
