Five Washburn
University
students have been awarded scholarships for the 2012-13 academic
year by the Mulvane
Art Museum's Women's Board.
Recipients are Maria Haag, St. Marys; James Hurt,
Manhattan; Rachael Johnson, Coldwater; Jacob Lewis, Lenexa; and
Stefanie
Stuever, Lawrence.
The Museum's Women's Board provides $3,500, which is
matched by Washburn financial aid.
Three of the five students have art work included in the
current Art Department Student Exhibit on display at the Museum
until June 3.
The
Mulvane
Art Museum, ArtLab and gift shop are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday; 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday
and
Sunday. Admission free.
The museum is
closed major holidays and will be closed Sunday, April 24.
The
Mulvane
is located on the campus of Washburn University, at 17th
and
Jewell Streets. Free
