Washburn Board of Regents member's visit to Thailand and India is topic of Brown Bag International Lecture

Washburn Board of Regents member Blanche Parks’ visit to Thailand and India will be discussed at the Brown Bag International Lecture at noon, Wednesday, Oct. 24 at International House, Washburn University. The event is open to the public. The international programs office sponsors the series.

Parks will share observations and photos from her travels to Thailand and India with Rotary International. Rotary International main objective is service – in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe. The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self. Rotary clubs are open to people of all cultures and ethnicities and are not affiliated with any political or religious organizations.
