Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company to perform at Washburn, Feb. 18

See the comedy stars of today and tomorrow live on stage when the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company, a comedy group based out of New York, brings the laughs with improvisational and sketch comedy to Washburn University at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 in the Washburn Room, Memorial Union. The event is free and open to the public.

 UCB Touring Company is widely known as one of the premier sketch comedy shows in the county and got its start in 1990 as an offshoot of the Chicago improve theater ImprovOlympic (now known as IO Theater). Over the years, the 90-minute show has toured the country showcasing its long form improve and introduced comedy fans to some of the best and brightest comedic talent around. Past performers of UBC Touring Company include Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Rob Huebel, Amy Poehler, Rob Riggle, Horatio Sanz and Paul Scheer.
