Washburn University is hosting its third Bowl for Kids’ Sake event to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Topeka.
Washburn students, faculty, staff, departments and organizations are being encouraged to participate in the event, from 8:30-11 p.m. at Gage Bowl in Topeka. Each team is asked to raise $100 or more. All proceeds directly support Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Topeka.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a national fundraising drive and accounts for as much as one-third of all fundraising for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters mentoring organization. The Washburn effort is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, the university’s Greek chapters and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Topeka.
