Hear Washburn University alumnus Barry Feaker, director, Topeka Rescue Mission, share stories of hope gleaned from homeless, poor and those who care for them, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Washburn Room, Memorial Union, Washburn campus. Copies of Feaker’s book “In Darkness, a Light Still Shines,” will be available for signing and purchase. The Ichabod Shop and the Washburn United Way campaign are sponsoring the event.
