Student, faculty and staff of Washburn University let their creative juices flow by entering the United Way waste basket decorating contest. Participants decorated the waste baskets with a Washburn or United Way theme in mind.
The waste basket entries are on display for silent auction 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and now through May 3, main level, Memorial Union. The silent auction will conclude from 5 to 6:45 p.m., Friday, May 3 at Washburn After Hours, Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center.
