Washburn students to benefit from Dog Day of Finals event

As finals week draws near, Washburn University students will be able to relieve stress when they snuggle with their favorite dog or cat from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Help Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street.

Students will be picked up by the Topeka Metro shuttle on campus, at the circle drive on Jewell Avenue, located on the south side of the Living Learning Center. The buses will pick up and drop off students every 15 minutes up until 12:30 p.m. when the last bus will leave Washburn.

For more information contact, Garrett Fenley, chief of staff, Washburn Student Government Association  at 785-670-1169.
