Affordable Care Act topic of panel discussion at Washburn luncheon

Health reform and the Affordable Care Act will be the topic of a panel discussion and luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, April 28 at the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center at Washburn University. Lunch will be provided.

Panel moderator will be Maynard Oliverius, former CEO of Stormont Vail HealthCare and the Ruth Garvey Cochener Fink Visiting Professor of Leadership for the 2013-14 academic year in the School of Nursing and the School of Applied Studies. Panelists will be Tom Bell, president and chief executive officer, Kansas Hospital Association; Kent Palmberg, vice president and chief medical officer, Stormont Vail HealthCare; Randy Peterson, chief executive officer, Stormont Vail HealthCare; and Sandy Praeger, Kansas Insurance Commissioner.
