Registrations are being accepted for summer classes and workshops for all ages offered by the Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University.
The hands-on classes are taught by local artists. Class times are available to accommodate a variety of schedules, ages, abilities and interests. Participants discover their inner artist through ceramics, jewelry, garden art, painting, felting, drawing, fiber arts, duct tape and glass.
A class catalog is available at washburn.edu/mulvane. Registrations are being accepted by phone at 785.670.2420 or may be brought to room 111 of the Garvey Fine Arts Center at Washburn. Entries may also be mailed to the Mulvane Art Museum, 1700 SW College, Topeka, KS 66621.
The Mulvane is located on the campus of Washburn University, at 17 th and Jewell Streets. Free parking is available directly to the west of the museum.
The Mulvane Art Museum, ArtLab and gift shop are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. The museum is closed major holidays.
