Certificate in
Non-Profit Management
through the Human Services & Political Science Departments

7 Reasons Why this Certificate at Washburn is for You......

Two Options

The Certificate in Non-Profit Management has two options. One for Students pursuing a Bachelors degree and one for Working Professionals. It combines coursework from both the Public Administration and Human Services departments.

For Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree: Students are able to enroll in the certificate courses at Washburn while pursuing either:

  • a Major in Public Administration or Human Services with an 18 hour minor, or
  • nearly any Major or Bachelor's degree, taking 27 elective hours plus EN100. This way, the Certificate is awarded upon completion of a Bachelor's degree.
For Working Professionals: The 27-30 hour Certificate program is also available to any working adult or graduate who is seeking advancement in the non-profit management field. Many classes are offered on-campus in the evenings and soon ALL classes will be available ON-LINE.
