Raised in Pinckney, Michigan Devin Cobleigh-Morrison received a bachelor’s degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, where he studied with Dale Clevenger and Alice Render, and a master’s degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied valved horn with Elizabeth Freimuth and Randy Gardner, and natural horn with Tom Sherwood.

Scholarly Interests/Activities

With a rich background in horn literature, chamber music, music clinics, private teaching, and period performance, Cobleigh-Morrison is also a published arranger and editor of chamber music through Vertias Musica Publishing.

Career Accomplishments

He holds the assistant principal horn position with the Topeka Symphony Orchestra, and will begin a trial year as third horn with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra in 2016. 

Recently Cobleigh-Morrison has performed both as a soloist, and in section with various ensembles in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Washington, and Arkansas.
