Career Accomplishments
I have been in the field of radiation therapy since 1981 and have seen all the changes there have been in the field and in healthcare in general. When I entered radiation therapy, the burn out rate was 3-5 years. I still feel very passionately about the field. The treatment set ups have become increasingly complex, but the basics never change. As an instructor I have the opportunity to convey to my students how important the fundamentals are to quality patient care.
