Career Accomplishments

Dr. McGuire is a professor of psychology with a background in Experimental Psychology emphasizing cognition and metacognition. He has worked at Washburn University since the Fall 2002 and has regularly taught Introductory Psychology, Psychological Statistics (undergraduate and graduate), Cognitive Psychology, and Principles of Learning. Prior to working at Washburn, he was postdoctoral fellow at Northern Michigan University. He earned his doctorate from Texas Tech University and his master’s degree from Idaho State University.
