Dr. Weigand is the author of over 35 articles on topics such as Dividend Policy, Time-Varying Risk and Expected Return, and Measuring Corporate Performance. He is also a visiting professor in the Executive MBA Program at the International School of Management in Paris.

Washburn Faculty Senate, Faculty Affairs Committee, Topeka Collegiate School Board of Trustees.
Career Accomplishments
Dr. Weigand is the author of over 35 scholarly articles and book chapters, and a full-length book, Applied Equity Analysis and Portfolio Management. Dr. Weigand is the recipient of the Ned Fleming Excellence in Teaching Award (2011), the A. Roy Myers Excellence in Research Award (2010), the John and Betty Dicus Excellence in Teaching Award (2010), and the Kaw Valley Bank Excellence in Research Award (2009). He was also the recipient of two Teaching Excellence Awards (1999, 2002) and the Outstanding Faculty Member Award (1999) at the School of Business at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
