Scholarly Interests/Activities
I am interested in legal communication, gender communication and humor. I am also interested in online teaching pedagogy and teaching trial advocacy skills to law students and attorneys. I enjoy working with students on quantitatively oriented research projects.
Service Interests/Activities
I enjoy being involved in the new First Year Experience Program at Washburn University and a wide variety of other activities on Washburn's campus. I have also been actively involved in the National Communication Association with the Communication and Law Division and have served multiple times as the program planner for the division for the national convention as well as chair of the division.
