David DePue, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Technology Administration

Dave DePue began teaching in the TA program as an adjunct faculty member in 1996. He earned his BS & MS degrees in education from Buffalo State College and a Ph.D. in Industrial Technology from The Ohio State University. His credentials include an FAA Aircraft Mechanic License and a Kansas k-12 teaching certificate.

Dr. DePue served in business, industry, and the military as an aircraft mechanic, training director, and operations manager. Including service in the Lockheed Aircraft “Skunk works”.

His government service included administration of veteran’s education & training programs in Kansas and oversight of Kansas vocational-technical programs for the US Congress.

Dr. DePue has taught technology related classes at 3 major universities. His publications include articles on effective teaching and results of research in energy conservation, power plant efficiency, and transportation innovation.
