Dr. Ron Evans
Professor of Psychology; Director of BIS Capstone Projects

Dr. Evans is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (KS #559), and has been a full-time member of the Washburn faculty since 1976. He received a B.S. (History and Psychology) from Iowa State University, and the M.A. and Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He has published 36 articles and 3 books on a variety of subjects in clinical, social, and personality psychology. His clinical interests center on the assessment and diagnosis of adult psychopathology, and he trains graduate students in those subjects as part of the Psychology Department's M.A. clinical training program. Hobbies center on the collection and preservation of 1950s and 1960s television programs and memorabilia; Dr. Evans has one of the largest private collections in the country of tv episodes for this period.
