About Us: Fellows Biography

Rob Hull is Associate Professor of Finance in the School of Business. He is a native Kansan familiar with its people and history. He was raised in rural Kansas and has spent his adult life in residence in Kansas cities. His Ph.D. is in finance from the University of Kansas, and he has been on the business faculty at Washburn U. since 1990. His intellectual interests focus on finance-related topics, in particular, corporate financial management. He wants to be of service to groups in Kansas by speaking on subjects related to finance, including (i) application of theories for financial executives of Kansas firms, and (ii) decisions of personal investment for retirement. Rob is faculty advisor to the Finance Society, which lists as a goal: "To bring Kansas businesses to the Washburn campus. Through these visits, we educate students and encourage them to pursue business careers in Kansas."
