J.
Karen Ray is a Professor
of English Though trained as a scholar of Restoration
and Eighteenth-Century British drama, she has done extensive
work on the roles of women in Kansas history. Specifically,
she was one of the founding members of the Kansas Chautauqua
and as such created and performed the roles of Carry Nation,
Kate Richards O'Hare, Osa Johnson, and Laura Ingals Wilder.
