About Us: Fellows Biography
Tom Wolf, Professor of Biology, has been on
the Washburn faculty since 1971. A geneticist by training, he has
developed an interest in environmental issues particularly those
dealing with the inter-relationships of all life forms and the
human impact which results when these relationships are distorted
or destroyed. His interest in environmental issues is reflected
in his promotion of environmental education, developing interdepartmental
programs in this area and using the center to educate the public
about the Kansas environment and the role that its most important
economic activity, agriculture, has on the environment of Kansans.
