Medical Imaging

To be eligible to apply to the Medical Imaging major, applicants must either be a student in or a graduate of one of the following certificate programs:

                        Computed Tomography
                        Diagnostic Medical Sonography
                        Radiation Therapy
                        Magnetic Resonance

Medical Imaging coursework includes the certificate program required courses as well as:

                        AL320 Human Disease
                        AL460 Research in Health Care
                        AL480 Seminar in Health Care

Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance students must also complete one course from the required Health Services Administration courses listed above.

Required for ALL BHS Students

University Requirements (11 hrs)
EN101  Freshman Composition
EN300  Advanced Composition
PE198  Lifetime Wellness
MA110 Exploring Mathematics OR  MA116 College Algebra

General Education Requirements (27 hrs)
Arts and Humanities (9 hrs – 3hrs in art, music, or theatre)
Math and Natural Science (9 hrs in 2 subject areas)
Social Science (9 hrs in 2 subject areas)

General Electives
12 upper division credit hours depending upon the Allied Health Specialty of the student.

The Transformational Experience
