Our purpose is to help you build a bachelor degree out of your associate of applied science degree. Most can finish the requirements in the equivalent of two more years of college; less if you have additional coursework that we can apply.

The focus is on the application of tools & techniques in administration, economics, leadership, management, production and service.

You will build on previous technical/college courses; studying administration, accounting, communications, economics, finance, marketing, management, systems, & quality. Elective courses include: legal issues, forecasting, environment skills, terrorism response, investigation techniques, database administration, disaster management, and more.

All of the TA program can be completed through on-line classes. These courses are identical to the face-to-face classes offered on the Washburn Campus. However, your time investment is more flexible. We have hundreds of students who are working full time jobs and are unable to travel to Topeka. Out of the area students may find it convenient to take any needed general education electives through a community college or university that is near your home or base.

At Washburn University, Learning For A Lifetime is more than a motto…it’s a call to action. Since 1865, the University has lived up to that call through teaching/learning excellence. Experience our small class sizes and open admissions policy.
Washburn’s success is based on the highest standards for faculty, a commitment to individual student achievement, interactivity between campus and community and an emphasis on technology and the future.
The PLAN program makes the Technology Administration program even more affordable by allowing you to transfer in or complete nearly half of the courses at a community or technical college.
