Transcripts and Diplomas
Do you need a certified copy
of your transcript or need a replacement diploma? The University Registrar's
Office will be more than happy to help you.
Transcript Requests
The Family Educational Rights
and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 requires that all transcript requests
must be in writing, signed and dated by the person to whom the academic
record belongs.
The processing fee is $3.00 per copy and normal processing time after
receiving request by mail or by fax is the next day. If you graduated
between 1985 and the present, you may visit the Registrar's Office in
person and your request will be processed while you wait.

Replacement Diploma Requests
If your diploma has been lost or damaged, you may have it replaced. The cost is $30 and requests take approximately two months to process.

Never Received Diploma After Graduation
Before you order a replacement of your diploma, check to see if the Registrar's Office still has it. Over 800 have been unclaimed. The list is alphabetical by last name. If you find your name, you may pick up your diploma in person with a photo ID or they'll be happy to mail it to you if you send a written request along with $5 to: University Registrar, Washburn University, 1700 SW College, Topeka, KS 66621.
