  • What is the EOP?

    • The EOP is a program designed to assist undergraduates by providing access to academic support resources.
  • How can EOP help me?

    • Tutoring - EOP offers tutoring services on the main floor of the Mabee Library. Tutoring schedules are established within the first couple weeks of each semester and are posted in the library as well as online. If we do not have a tutor in the area you need, we will help  you find a departmental tutor or online resources.

    • IS 100 -The College Experience (2 credit hours) - EOP coordinates this course which, in combination with IS 170-Library Research Strategies, is designed to give you the tools to be a successful student in all aspects of student life. Talk with an academic advisor about enrolling in it.

    • iRead - EOP organizes the committee and and various activities surrounding Washburn's annual campus read. This fall our book is: Nickel & Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America by Barbara Ehrenreich.

    • Academic Resources & Referrals - The EOP has many online and on campus resources to share with students. If you have a question, come see us and we will point you in the right direction.
  • Where is the EOP located?

    • The EOP is usually located in Morgan Hall #122, although we are in Mabee Library while Morgan Hall is under construction. If you have questions, e-mail us or call (785) 670-2299.
  • How do students participate?

    • Contact the office or check out our services online.
  • How much does it cost?

    • NOTHING! These services are absolutely FREE.
