Vantage CCD

Vantage CCD

Vantage is a magnifying tool that can be used to magnify anything that will fit on its reading table. It can be used for reading all kinds of documents, such as books, newspapers, magazines, letters, reports, contracts - even viewing coins, stamps, or photographs. It will magnify up to 45 times the size of an item.

Appointments or training are not necessary as this machine is very user friendly.

Closed-Caption Television

The closed-caption TV provides captions for the hearing impaired when VCR tapes are viewed. The Magnavox TV/VCR combination is located in the audio-visual area and the activation remote control is available at the Circulation Desk. Please be sure that the videotape you wish to view has the CC symbol to ensure that it is a closed-caption tape.
