Participants, from various countries, spend the week in one of Oxford University's many colleges, living in the centuries old (but somewhat modernized!) dormitories and sharing meals in the college's dining hall.  One of my writing colleagues (who happens to be my daughter), was also invited to join the Round Table in 2005 and we co-presented one of our papers.

All sessions of the Oxford Round Table are held at the famous Oxford Debate Hall.  Participants present individual papers and engage in lively debate and discourse of ideas, issues, and insights arising from each topic presented.

Around Oxford

Around Oxford are numerous colleges and landmarks, a number of which have been featured in popular films, such as Harry Potter.  Outside of Oxford is Bleinham Castle, the birthplace of Winston Churchill.  A bit further into the English countryside are the Cotswolds, famous for wool production.

Among other things, London is known for its beautiful bridges, the changing of the Guard, and its spectacular architecture.
