Professor Hull has taught a variety of finance and business courses for 25 years. He is faculty advisor for the Washburn Finance Society (WFS), which is a student organization fostering educational activities for Washburn University students interested in finance. Click here for information on WFS. Professor Hull's major area of instruction and research is corporate finance. He is author and developer of the Capital Structure Model (CSM) that extends Modigliani and Miller (1958, 1963) and lays the foundations for current capital structure perpetuity theory. He has twenty-three publications in recognized finance journals such as Financial Management, Journal of Financial Research, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, The Journal of Financial Education, Investment Management and Financial Innovations, and The Journal of Finance Case Research, and ten publications involving supplements for textbooks.
