DO

Media

• Obtain signed model release forms from persons appearing in video and/or audio tapings that you produce.
• Obtain signed release forms when photographing people for class assignments.

Multimedia

• Include an opening screen in multimedia projects that states you have used copyrighted material under the fair use exemption of the US Copyright Law.
• You may indefinitely retain a copy of your multimedia works for job or graduate school interviews.

DON'T

Music

• Do not perform someone else’s composition without permission.
