Washburn University is committed to providing clear and easy access to consumer information as required by law. Paper copies of any of the information provided here are available upon request.  Several resources are compiled for prospective students, current students, employees, parents, and the community about Washburn University in accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act and other federal/state regulatory agencies.

In addition to the rights and responsibilities described in these notices, students and employees are responsible (as pertains to each) for knowing and complying with current requirements and procedures at the departmental, college and University levels including those described in the University’s Policies, Regulations and Procedures Manual, the Faculty Handbook, the Student Handbook, the Undergraduate Catalog, the Graduate and Law Catalogs and the Residential Living Handbook, and applicable student, housing or employment contract terms and conditions.

Additional required disclosures are provided as needed through other means: for victims of crime by the University Police Department, for certain financial aid recipients by the Office of Student Financial Aid, and for prospective student athletes and their parents by the Athletics Department.
