riting
is fundamental to every good education and Washburn University supports every
facet of student writing. To that end, the university created the Washburn
Writers Program. This pilot program began working actively with students
in the Spring '04 semester. With both a curricular and extracurricular component,
the program draws on writing fellows programs at other universities, but adds
some uniquely Washburn elements of its own.
