Whereas the Senate and House chambers were rennovated and back in operation by 2010,
the Kanas Capitol dome (interior and exterior), rotunda and new Visitors Center took another
three years to complete. The dome was rennovated inside and outside.
The Kansas Capitol rennovation was finished by Kansas Day, January 29, 2014.
Visitors are welcome to tour personally at the Capitol during business hours free of charge.
Guided tours of the building and dome climbing are available at a modest fee.
