Through thoughtful assessment and inquiry, collaborative problem-solving and goal-setting, and safe, open, and honest dialogue, employees become clearer on where they are, where they want to go, and how to get there. Individuals feel accountable to themselves and their coach. They make and honor their commitments to reaching their goals, accomplishing more than they believed possible when they began. Employees are provided instruction and one-on-one mentoring as well as help with setting goals, defining an action plan, and navigating the path until they reach their goals. Learning is facilitated and employees put the learning into action.
Individual consultations provide a confidential atmosphere in which to gain information and knowledge in a nonjudgmental manner. Consultation topics are determined by the employee and range anywhere from prenatal advice, to stress management, to diabetes.
All Washburn employees receive a monthly Employee Wellness Newsletter. The newsletter is intended to educate and inspire employees through an attractive mix of wellness topics, easy-to-read stories and enjoyable illustrations.
