Student Activities and Greek Life

All Students Matter!

GO GREEK!

Joining a Greek organization is an excellent way to meet people, get acclimated to campus life, gain important leadership skills, have fun, and establish life-long friendships.

Membership in a fraternity or a sorority is one of the best ways to become involved at Washburn University. All Greek groups encourage their members to be well-rounded and diverse while sharing in the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.

The purpose of Greek life is to create a better student experience, which is why so many members are found in all aspects of campus life. In addition, fraternity and sorority members have the highest graduation rate at Washburn.

Excellent academic programs and resources, community service events and social activities are other reasons why you should be interested in Going Greek at Washburn!

Please use the links on the right to access a host of information on fraternities and sororities, including how to join.

If you have any questions, please complete our information request form below or contact the Office of Student Activities & Greek Life at 785-670- 1723 or via e-mail.
