If you want to work in sports-related operations and management, from recreation department or fitness center management to stadium operations or professional athlete representation, this is the degree for you. You’ll blend a deep background in kinesiology with business courses in economics, marketing, and accounting to prepare for the business-side of sports and recreation in the private, non-profit, or public sector. You’ll also complete an internship, so you’ll graduate with experience and be ready for what’s next.

- Most students in this program have at least a part-time job. Working at Washburn’s Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) is a great fit!
