Cassandra White and Randi McAfee, current student body President and Vice-President, hope to continue the 102 years of “students serving students”, at Washburn University. Using a “student focused” approached, undoubtedly a founding principle, the White/McAfee Administration hopes to integrate students to three entities the Administration finds crucial to future success: Washburn University, the Topeka Community, and the Washburn Student Government Association.
Questions all students should ask themselves: Do you want your voice to be heard? Do you have an idea for a project that will benefit Washburn Students? Do you have suggestions on how WSGA can help you achieve academic excellence? Luckily, the Washburn Student Government Association currently offers great opportunities to become engaged in the ever-growing Washburn University.
Student Initiative Grant proposals provide students with the funding and implementation of campus enhancement projects. Finals Week, a highly anticipated week amongst students, provides study aids, stress relief, study breaks, and free food that fosters a culture of healthy, steadfast studying found in all Ichabods.
