- Career Accomplishments
Dr. Reisinger is a Washburn University undergraduate alumni. Clinically, her foundational nursing experience was in the critical care areas. She obtained her graduate degrees (MSN & DNP) from the University of Kansas. She is certified in both family practice and psych mental health. She has practiced more than 25 years with focus on rural health. Associated with this practice she staffs rural health clinics, performs extended care rounds, serves as a wound/ostomy consultant, and maintains active family and mental health practices. Her doctoral capstone focus involved health promotion activities and effective chronic disease management in rural underserved populations. She has been recognized as a Rural Health Fellow by the National Rural Health Association. Her area of graduate research included the evaluation of interventions to improve preventive services and chronic disease management in rural, medically underserved populations.
